ABOUT GELTSDALE BREWERY

Geltsdale Brewery is a craft brewery based in Brampton, North Cumbria, adjacent to Hadrian's Wall. We use only water from the Geltsdale valley combined with the finest whole hops and malt to produce a range of the finest flavoured, balanced and creative craft ales in Northern England.

Originally opened in 2006 by Fiona Deal, Geltsdale Brewery honours the traditional and proven methods of the original Brampton Brewery first opened in 1785, whilst applying a progressive and innovative approach to both beer style and brewing techniques.

We now supply our range of Craft beers throughout the UK and beyond.

WHERE TO FIND OUR BEER

Our Craft Ales can be found in bars, pubs and restaurants throughout Cumbria, Northumbria, southern Scotland and beyond. Our Chill Filtered Bottled Ales can be found in retail establishments and supermarkets across the country.

BREWERY SHOP & TOURS

Our new Brewery Shop and Bar is open to visitors and locals 5 days a week from 9 till 5pm - Sat 10-5pm. Our full range of Craft Ales will be available along with brewery merchandise. Bar opening hours may vary. Brewery tours are by appointment only, please contact the brewery for details.

WEDDINGS & PARTIES

Geltsdale Brewery can supply Craft Ales in cask, pin or bottle for your event, party or wedding. We also provide a bespoke wedding and party label service so your bottled ales have that personal touch. Please contact the brewery for details.
